Located with an awesome view of Beaver Stadium, this student centered development consists of 145 three-bedroom townhomes with a central clubhouse, and outdoor recreation areas. The 14.28 acre project is located in College Township, Centre County, PA. The project presented unique stormwater challenges to mitigate flooding potential of downstream properties. Stormwater runoff was mitigated by multiple sub-surface detention/infiltration areas located throughout the site, in combination with bio-retention areas, and a central extended duration stormwater control basin. Permitting for the project included Municipal Land Development approval, NPDES/E&S permit, and sanitary sewer main extension approval from University Area Joint Authority.
